TINY PATCHES

Melbourne Design Week 2024
How can we measure the value of biodiversity in small, unconnected patches?

GLAS Landscape Architects showcase their recent work in Brunswick Park, where they utilized the potential of small patches to bring back rich biodiversity to the area. They also took this concept to the extreme by creating mobile patches—three different ecosystems in shopping trolleys were rolled around Brunswick, connecting Moonee Ponds to Merri Creek on their journey.

This was a great exhibition covering research, case studies, and an artist's take on the journey of the shopping trolleys. Holding the exhibition in Better Building Exchange by
HIP V. HYPE added more to the experience.
